Fees
Customized itineraries
L. Alexander Travel charges a per trip research and planning fee starting at $400, which is non-refundable and non-transferable and due just after the initial consultation. The trip fee includes consultation, research, planning, and quote preparation. During this introductory stage, we also are tapping into our global network of preferred suppliers, as well as our professional expertise. Once pleased with the itinerary, we confirm and service all parts of the trip: flights if needed, accommodations, transfers, on the ground transportation, guided tours and activities. We also offer recommendations for unique experiences, theater tickets, restaurants, local attractions, and more.

Cruise only
L. Alexander Travel waives the planning fee for established clients on single, cruise only bookings where the client has picked the destination and route as this oftentimes will allow our clients to enjoy additional negotiated amenities and other benefits. For pre and post cruise itineraries, fees will vary depending on complexity.
Group travel
This includes travel with a group of travelers (family reunions, multi-generational travel, incentive groups, reward trips and more) starting with a minimum of 4 rooms or cabins.

Resort & luxury hotel collection
L. Alexander Travel waives the planning fee for established clients on single, hotel only bookings where the client has picked the destination and property as this oftentimes will allow our clients to enjoy additional negotiated amenities and other benefits.
Change & cancellation fees
Customized itineraries : $400 cancellation fee to be charged to the credit card on file should the trip be cancelled for any reason
Hotels / Cruise: $50 cancellation fee per hotel or cruise reservation.
Flights: Any reissued tickets will require a $50 (domestic) and $100 (international) ticket reissue or exchange fee, in addition to any supplier-imposed penalties. Penalties depend on airline booking terms and conditions.
Last minute change fees: $200 change fee should there be last minute trip changes within 5 days of departure.
Honeymoon travel
This includes travel for the purpose of celebrating marriage. We provide special touches and have access to exclusive amenities such as complimentary breakfast, extra resort credits, a room upgrade or a spa treatment to help you celebrate your life together. These extra touches are what we excel at.

Airline tickets
We have an elite flight team charged with finding our clients the best flight solution at either equal to or better than market fares. We access all public fares as you see online in addition to accessing non-public fares on select international first/business class routes.
$50 per domestic ticket
$100 per international ticket
Our schedule of services vary based on the complexity of the trip, and are calculated as an overall project cost after initial consultation. Additional airline & travel management fees may apply, depending on the trip.
All fees are non-refundable once paid.
